We are pleased to have launched the new online shop for The Mad Hatter Joke & Fancy Dress Shop. The Mad Hatter have been supplying costumes, wigs, hats, stage make-up and other accessories to theatre groups, schools, carnival clubs and party-goers for 22 years.

Their physical shop, located in a 350 year old haunted property, features several different departments packed with hundreds of inspiring theatrical props and fancy dress costumes. The upper part of the buliding contains their hire department while downstairs is the Haunted House and Horror Shop where spine chilling items are stocked all year round.

The new website for the The Mad Hatter had to be flexible enough so that it could expand as more and more products were added to the site. The new website also features an extensive content management system that allows the client to update the website themselves, whether this is adding and removing products or making changes to exisitng ones.

A key element of the website was that it had to have two distinct areas that highlighted their Halloween and Christmas products as these would be their best sellers, especially during the time that the new website was launched. This was achieved by creating two unique, themed areas on the website - the Christmas Shop and the Horror Shop - that would showcase these specific products.
